AP Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2018

The Government of Andhra Pradesh announced AP EAMCET 2018 schedule on 8th January 2018. The JNTU (Kakinada) is going to conduct the Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test 2018 on behalf of AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The Entrance Exams will be held between 22-04-2018 and 26-04-2018. AP EAMCET 2018 is a National Level Entrance Examination which is the gateway for admissions into UG courses such as Engineering, Medicine, and Agriculture. These courses are provided by Government & Private Institutions and Universities located in AP. The examination mode is completely online. Schedule of AP EAMCET 2018 Entrance Exams

Engineering Exam Dates: from 22 April 2018 to 25 April 2018. The Engineering Entrance Exams are conducted in 6 sessions.
EAMCET Bi.P.C Exam Date: 26 April 2018. The JNTU Kakinada conducts Bi.P.C Exam (Medicine Stream) in 2 sessions on 26th April.
The Exam will be conducted in a maximum of 150 centers in various cities of Andhra Pradesh. (The minimum exam centers are 115).
The JNTU plans to release AP EAMCET 2018 results within 10 days after the examinations.
They also conduct Mock Test for the students applying for EAMCET Entrance.
All the Examinations are conducted online only.
As per the Govt announcement, there are 1,36,790 seats available for both Engineering and Pharmacy.

AP EAMCET 2018 Syllabus

The syllabus of AP EAMCET is on the basis of Higher Secondary Standard (12th) or equivalent conducted by Board of Intermediate Education.
Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, and Botany.

AP EAMCET 2018 Counselling

Each Applicant gets an EAMCET Rank based the marks they secure in the Entrance Exam.
The EAMCET selection board will call the applicants for Counselling based on the rank.

AP EAMCET 2018 Examination Pattern

Subjects for Engineering: Physics (40 marks), Chemistry (40 marks), Mathematics (80 marks).
Subjects for Agriculture: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology (40 marks in each subject).
No of Questions: 160 questions.
Total Marks: 160 marks.
Type of questions: Objective Type.
Duration of the Examination: 3 hours
Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer and no negative marking.

Application Processing Fee

Agriculture & Medical (AM): Rs. 350/-.
Engineering (E): Rs. 350/-.
For both (E + AM): Rs. 700/-.
Aspirants may pay the Application Fee through online modes such as Net Banking/ Credit or Debit Card.
