NEET 2018 Entrance Examination for MBBS and BDS
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is probably going to conduct the NEET Exam 2018 on 10th May 2018. However, CBSE releases NEET Application Form in the last week of January 2018. Subsequently, the Application process begins on the same day. NEET is a National Level Examination for MBBS/ BDS admissions. So, it is an entrance for Medical and Dental courses. The Govt and Private Medical Colleges in India offers these courses. CBSE conducts NEET Exam 2018 in several cities in India. Details NEET Exam 2018
Candidates should have cleared the 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from any recognized Board. Whereas, the students appearing in the 12th standard examination may also apply.
Students should have Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Biotechnology or another elective subject with English in qualifying exam.
Candidates must obtain at least 50% marks for general, 45% for general PH and 40% for ST/ SC and OBC category in PCB group.
Aadhaar Card is mandatory for Indian citizens in order to apply for NEET Exam 2018.
The minimum age limit is 17 years as on 31 December of the year of admission.
Maximum age limit is 25 years and 30 years for reserved categories as on the date of examination.
Indian Citizens, Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin(PIO), NRI candidates may apply for NEET exam.
Limitation of Attempts:
General/ OBC category candidates may apply 9 times and Reserved category Students can apply 14 times for the NEET.
Application fee of Rs. 1400/- is mandatory for UR/ OBC and Rs. 750/- for SC/ST & PH applicants.
Candidates can pay the Fee through online mode with Credit or Debit Cards or e-challan of SBI, Syndicate Bank, ICICI Bank or HDFC Bank.

No. of Questions: 180
Mode of Exam: Offline mode (Pen and Paper based Written Test).
Type of Questions: Objective Type.
Duration: 3 Hours.
Subjects: Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Languages: Question papers are in 8 languages, they are English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, and Assamese.
Marks Scheme: Each correct answer has 4 marks.
Negative Marks: One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
So, candidates should prepare well and pay attention while writing the exam.

NEET Exam Syllabus is a common syllabus based on the 11 and 12th class standard. It is prescribed by Medical Council of India and reviewed by all State and Govt Boards.
